Auntie Crissy.

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

My auntie who recently came from London paid us a visit the other day. It was such a delight to see her as she wouldn’t stop talking about her shopping adventures in Milan. Oh, how I envy her. I wish to visit Milan soon to get some what else but designer bags! According to her, its cheapest to get those LVs and Chanels in Milan. So yeah, Milan is now my ultimate shopping destination I would want to visit someday.

Auntie Crissy spent the entire day with us. She showed us photos of all her travels and even brought a video of her mansion in Italy. She’s into Moroccan decor by the look of the pieces of furniture she has in her home. The Moroccan furniture she said were acquired mostly when she travels, which she does a whole lot. But I told her about a site that carries Moroccan furniture and boy was she delighted. She wouldn’t actually wait and she borrowed my laptop to check out the site.  She was really funny.  It was really nice to see and have her in our house.  I hope we could visit her soon in Italy. I wish!!! Hahaha.

Linens?

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

A friend is having a housewarming party next week and I have been thinking of something nice to give her. I thought of nice dinnerware set and some fine linens like that of Sferra. What do you think? I’m sure though that she would love the linens and the husband thinks so too so I might settle for those. I’m hoping I could score a great deal over the net and that the stuff will be here just in time for the housewarming.  Here’s what I am eying.  Nice, right?

On losing weight.

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

While at it – online shopping that is, I couldn’t help but get tempted to purchase Ephadrasil hardcore as I badly need to lose weight. If you would see me now, I am probably 10 pounds (or more) overweight.  A very far cry from my usual reed thin self when I was single.  Well, for consolation, I just gave birth two months ago so I assume this is just post pregnancy weight. I do hope to get rid of it soon though as I couldn’t fit in any of my old clothes until now. And I don’t want to keep on buying bigger ones as I am still hoping I would lose eight really soon. Oh well, I guess I have to try to perform exercises on the side too even if I decide to take some diet pills.  I hope I succeed, wish me luck!

RL shopping again.

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

I just got my laptop back and I’m so excited. I missed surfing the net and what else but online shopping! First thing I did was check out my favorite online stores for sales, haha. Although I also researched a little about cerebral palsy, the two days that I have my laptop back with me were all spent online shopping and blogging! And so, my paypal account now is again depleted.  Poor me! Ralph Lauren has got me broke! They have new stuff on sale now and they are simply irresistible! You should check them out! Mateo, my youngest could pass for an RL model already as his clothes are now mostly from the brand. Although a bit expensive, I love their kiddie clothes. Quality is really nice and most of all, they look good on my kids so I shouldn’t be complaining. :D

No to online shopping

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

While I am waiting for my quote for life insurance online from a very persistent agent friend of mine, I was so tempted to do some online shopping again. I did however stopped and reminded myself that I promised to not spend on not so important stuff this 2009. I hope I get to keep my promise and refrain from shopping online as God knows my kids have so much stuff already!  We need a whole new room to fill up with their clothes and toys, no kidding. So yes, so far so good, no shopping for me anytime soon. :)   I just wonder until when? :P

Travel Plans.

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

This early, I have been telling and bugging the husband about having our first out of the country trip with Mateo in tow. Yes, I already have plans. :D You see, we took Sophia to HK when she was six months old and I’m hoping to do the same with the little boy. After all, Sophia isn’t really of a problem anymore as she’s already turning four this March. I only am considering Asian destinations though so it’ll be easier for me. As much as we would like to attend my sister in law’s graduation this May in Florida, Jon and I don’t think its a good idea. We would love to go though with my in laws and stay at Westgate Vacation Villas Orlando but I think we’ll pass this time first. The long flight of course is the reason why. By the time Mateo is one though which is December this year, we vow to go with them and visit dear sister in law. :D
