On Gazebos.

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

I’ve always wanted a gazebo on our lawn. The husband isn’t fond of them though so I have no choice but not have one. With the kids growing up now however and constant impromptu visits from friends, having a gazebo seems to be a good idea. The husband is getting convinced bit by bit so right now, I am looking at nice gazebos online which I can have copied just in case he decides to have one built. I should be ready you know. Choices are a handful so its so hard to pick one. I’ll go for a Bali inspired gazebo though as I think it would be easier to make and would compliment our house.

The hunt begins now.

This patent reva ballerina flat is on sale! I hope I cna get my hand on it.  I am not a shoe person so I am not willing to pay for the whole price so this is my chance to own a reva flat. Now or never. LOL.

Already sent an email to a friend but no reply yet. I hope she gets to read my message so she can purchase the shoes already before sizes run out.  In the meantime, will do my research about colon cleanser first. My mom should have one, I think.

Disability Insurance.

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

I’ve been cleaning and organizing my inbox when I stumbled upon an old email about disability insurance. Not that I need one right now but who knows. I opened it and read it. Sorted it out in one of my folders instead of deleting ti. I might need it one day, hopefully not – ever.

If you happen to look for a nationwide provider of financial and healthcare related services to people with disabilities though, check out Allsup.com. They might be bale to be of great help to you. The email they sent was very informative and I was convinced that they are one of the trusted names in their business. After all, since 1984, Allsup has helped more than 110,000 people receive their entitled Social Security Disability Insurance and Medicare benefits. That is something.

Coach Totes.

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

I was actually looking for acne treatments for my son’s yaya who for the longest time has been having breakouts when I happen to see these coach tote bags…

The very affordable prices lured me. My friends are going gaga too. I wonder if we should give in to temptation. God knows we all don’t need another bag. But these ones are oh so tempting. And besides they won’t break our pockets so we’ll see. I’m coordinating with an online shopper as of now.You know who you are. :)

Meanwhile, back to acne treatment hunt.

US trip.

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

For days now, I have spent most of my time online planning for our US trip this March. I have been starting to make our itinerary too. Shopping is actually not my priority for this trip as our activities will be mostly for the kids but I’ll sure visit an outlet store or two of course. Aside from a little shopping for myself and the kids, I am meaning to get two seat lifts for Jon’s lola and mine as gifts. I haven’t seen anything like it here so its my chance to get them in the US. I hope I can find a great deal so it wouldn’t be hard on the pocket. After all, we do have a budget limit for shopping for this trip just like the trips we’ve had before. Jon and I are still on the haggling stage so wish me luck!

Sad news.

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

On a sad note.

My friend who usually takes care of all my online shopping sprees had some bad news. I was trying to contact her for days now regarding my loot when she said that she was actually in and out of the hospital to visit her co-worker so she couldn’t return my emails. Apparently, her co-worker is undergoing some Mesothelioma treatment. According to Wikipedia, Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is almost always caused by exposure to asbestos. In this disease, malignant cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the body’s internal organs. Sad news indeed.

Bad I know but when I hear of stories like this, its the only time I feel so grateful for my good health. That shouldn’t be the case, right?

Bed and Bag.

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

In search for a king sized sleep number bed (I am upgrading our queen so we can all fit), I chanced upon this body bag from Burberry. Way affordable than the Gucci I like.

What do you think? I still like the Gucci’s design better but practically speaking, I think this is a wiser buy.  Now, only if I have a few hundred dollars to spare. LOL

I guess I should go back to looking for the king sized sleeping bed where I am sure the husband won’t mind to spend as  he can benefit from it too.  He has been sleeping on the floor for some time now and he is tired of it.  Poor husband, don’t you think?

My Faucet.

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

The bath faucet at the restaurant we ate at the other night made me want to change ours. I actually looked online when I got home the very same day and saw the same faucet at Faucet.com. Its the one below.

Ain’t it cute? The husband will surely love it too. Its very modern and hip. Perfect for us very young couple, haha. Seriously, its something I like because its not common. I just hope I can find a store near us that sells something like it. I hope its affordable and within my budget too. After all, I don’t really need a new sink. I just want to have a new one. :D
