Shopping for the kids.

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

I’ve been going gaga choosing for the kids’ outerwear at Old Navy these past few days. With two upcoming trips, I need at least two coats each for my kids and some scarves and gloves. I’m throwing in some tights for my little girl too.  Oh, a mommy can’t really get enough shopping for her kids, agree?  I need to be practical though and buy only a few pieces but the problem is I can’t seem to trim down my choices as they have so many nice stuff at really affordable prices. But no matter how affordable the coats and other stuff are though, I still get shocked with my total bill when I try to check out as I have a bit plenty of items on my shopping cart. Oh what to do?

Oh I know! Discount codes will definitely help! How can I ever forget about such? I’m sure I’ll find Old Navy coupon codes online. And then maybe, just maybe I can get a coat for myself too! Yeah, wishful thinking. :D

Coat Hunting for the kids.

Friday, November 6th, 2009

Due to our upcoming trip, I need to get the kids some coats. Nothing fancy or expensive as they’ll never really et to use them often, only when we travel so I am checking out Old Navy. So far, here are the ones on my initial list.

I need to only get two the most so what do you think? The last one with fur looks really cute but I’m thinking it might be too much? Well, I still have a few days to think about it so will go look for an artificial christmas tree now first before I decide which coats to get. We need a new tree because the old one is just way too… old already. Haha.

Saturday, December 27th, 2008

After all the merry making and partying, its now back to reality. I have tons of tasks to complete now so online shopping has to wait. Although I can’t help but check some great steals every once in a while and what do you know, Ralph Lauren is offering extra 30% on some sale items and who would let this oppurtunity pass? Certainly not me! I got these for my little man …

Aren’t these oh so cute?!?!?!

Polliwalks, its what they are called. I first saw these cuties at Kidsport and now I stumbled upon their website while searching for alli. As written on their website :

Once upon a time,
children’s shoes were taking themselves a bit too seriously,
and feet were not having any fun.
Then one day, a new brand named Polliwalks™ was created.
Polliwalks™ brought fun back to children’s feet. All the children loved their Polliwalks™.
They took them home, quickly became best friends, and lived happily every after.
When was the last time a shoe looked you in the eye and made you smile?
Feet have never had so much fun!
Go on, go outside and play!

They are really are so much fun! More designs to choose from. Visit here.

Wooden Toys found online.

Thursday, December 4th, 2008

I can barely blog hop lately as time is usually spent taking care of a newborn and a preschooler but this morning, I found time to take a peek at some friends’ blog and look what I found from Mich’s blog – a multiply site that sells really nice wooden toys – http://comeandplay.multiply.com/. Its so tempting to get some for the little girl but she has a LOT of gifts for Christmas under our tree already waiting to be opened. But we’ll see … Its very quick to order online anyway so I hope I can make up my mind in the coming days. Shopping anything for the kids keep me sane lately and I’m thankful I can do that anytime online and I just did. I’ve depleted my paypal account again so I have no choice but to stop now and log out before the little boy wakes up. But first let me check some kitchen sinks.

Endless indeed.

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

I have been going crazy shopping for shoes for my little girl in this site : http://www.endless.com/.

I bet you will too for you or your little one.  They offer FREE overnight shipping mind you. And I ordered four pairs already for Sophia. :D Nice, Nice nice.

Happy Shopping!

Rainy Trick or Treat.

Friday, October 31st, 2008

There’ll be trick or treating this afternoon here in our village but its raining!

I wonder how the kids will manage to go around with the raindrops. Good thing I really have no intention of making Sophia go around as we have plans of trick or treating at Tagaytay Highlands tomorrow. We have prepared some goodies for the kids though which Sophia will give away herself when they do drop by our house. I hope the rain stops for a while so the kids can have fun.

In the meantime, I’ll go canvass for pvc fence installation quotes online while waiting for the little girl to wake up from her nap.

Costume for Halloween.

Friday, September 12th, 2008

It’s that time of the year once again. No, I’m not talking about Christmas here but rather, Halloween! If you’re a mom like me who has a kid that goes to school and is required to wear a costume for their Halloween Party, now is the perfect time to have your kids’ costume made if you are not ordering a ready to wear one online. As for me, I haven’t really decided what my little girl will be for this year but if you ask her, she’d love to be her favorite character of the moment – NEMO. Nahhhh. I don’t think it suits her so I’ll do everything to make her not Nemo or a fish this Halloween. I hope I succeed! You see, this little girl of mine has a mind of her own already.

Nevertheless, for her costumes, there are two sites I usually frequent who does custom made designs. You can check out http://www.bumblebee.com.ph/ and http://babyfashionistas.multiply.com/. I am still looking for other alternatives but my search took me over to Festina watches already after some time so it seems that these two are the (only) best options available to mommies from where I am from.

How about you mommies, have you decided on what your kids will be this coming Halloween?
