Macy’s!

Monday, January 18th, 2010

Just came back from a four day vacay in Guam the other day and to my surprise, I spent most of my shopping money at Macy’s there in Micronesia Mall! Everything was on sale and needless to say, I went crazy with a capital C, haha! Since I don’t have enough space in my luggage to hold everything I wanted though, I had to let go of some items I wanted badly and now I can’t sleep! Last night, while I was about to research on GMAT prep for my sister as per high recommendations from my cousin who has taken the course, I decided to check out Macy’s online and what do you know?

Sleepwear at $7

Monday, December 14th, 2009

Was looking for outdoor fireplace designs when I received this email from Old Navy. Darn! I don’t have any intention to shop at all but who can resist? I love really nice sleepwear on me and my kids so I might get a few pairs for us. Yes, a few and I mean it. No more moohlah for shopping you see. Read BROKE, I am! Maybe Santa can spare me a few and I’ll be uber glad!

Thanksgiving Sale.

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

Been staying late at night for days now because of online shopping. I need to stop because 1)  my dark eye circles are getting worst and 2) I should just patiently wait for Thanksgiving sale, right? Unless I have overflowing budget which I clearly don’t, I better save up for the kick ass sales that will come my way during the Black Friday Sale. I wonder though if the online sales will be as good as those in stores but I’m not up to camping outside the malls at 5am so I think I will stick with the online sale, whatever they’ll be offering.  I just hope they’ve got a couple of good deals worth waiting for. Or should I take my chances and camp out too? No way!

Perfect!

Oh yes I will!

Timing has never been perfect. My in laws are now in the US so I can’t wait to avail of the promo stated above. My search for glass tiles now has to wait because I need to browse the GAP site for the stuff I want for the kids and I. On top of the list would be this boots for my little girl.

Pretty isn’t it? I bet my little girl will be ecstatic and probably won’t want to take these off when she gets them. Haha

Oh, Coats!

Sunday, November 8th, 2009

Just when I was about to review the term life insurance quotes my friend emailed me, I saw this too on my inbox. And now I am giddy happy!!! I’ve been wanting to buy more affordable (read cheap) coats for me for our upcoming trips but I can’t seem to make myself justify the purchases as I really won’t be able to use them anyway from where I am from. But these coats on sale this mad? I can’t resist and makes the perfect excuse to buy!

Custom Le Pliage.

Friday, June 12th, 2009

I promised the husband that I am veering away from online shopping for a month. His credit card badly needs some rest so I didn’t have intentions of doing some online shopping today but I needed to check the net for a furniture I wanted to be copied so I went online. And then, as they say, the rest is history. I broke my promise – again. For some reason, probably divine intervention, I came acroos the Longchamp’s website and found this …

Custom Le Pliage!!!

We can choose any color we want and mix and match them to our heart’s content. And, we can even have our name eitehr embossed or embroidered. Coolness!!!!

While I was looking for an XBox online and reading reviews on it, I came across this …

Sad.

I wonder what happened. Eluxury was a great bag source for LV lovers. They don’t impose taxes on their bags thats why. And this makes one save a lot! Could that be the reason? I don’t know.

Although I was only able to order from them once, I cant help but be sad. I’m hoping that they’ll be back with a vengeance, SOON.

Until then.

Buy.com

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

Who isn’t a fan of sale? Well, I am. And there’s one site that comes to mind whenever I hear the word sale. At Buy.com, you’ll find the best deals in town – barnone. Whether you are looking for gadgets, electronics, toys, software and whatever, you’ll surely find it at this I like to call one stop superstore. It has everything one will ever need. I actually spend hours just browsing the site. You should visit and see for yourself. Buy.com makes shopping more fun! Not that it isn’t. :D

My “bilins”.

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

My mom visited yesterday and was I glad to see her! She is leaving for Macau and Hongkong next week and I made sure to write down the shopping places she needed to go. I told her about TungChung, an outlet store in Hongkong, that is a must go to place for cheap finds like Samsonite bags, Lacoste Bags and RL shirts. I told her to get RL polo shirts for Sophia if she sees any in her size. I hope she gets to buy for the little girl as the daddy for some reason loves seeing Sophia wearing polo shirts and jeans. Although RL dresses are quite hard to find, I’m hoping the outlet store in TungChung might have some as I on the other hand loves seeing Sophia wear those preppy polo shirt dresses.

Since she is also going to Disneyland, I asked the “lola” to buy a Disney Princess rolling bag for the little girl too. The last time we were there, they were out of stock and I was told that new stocks will arrive by October. I hope my mom can still grab one by next week.

If only a stroller or a car seat won’t be too much to carry around, I would have asked my mom to purchase them too there as I’m sure its cheaper compared to getting them here. But I don’t think my mom will be able to handle such big stuff so I have no choice but to purchase the stroller and car seat here – at Hobbes and Landes in Boni High Street specifically.

Now, what else? I still have a couple of days to think of some more…

My fave online bookstore.

Saturday, August 9th, 2008

I love shopping for books online. Be it for me, my husband or our little princess, I get Amazon books all the time as not only do I get them at big discounts, I also save time and effort to go to the nearest bookstore to pick up new books. With the rising prices of gas today, such short trip means a lot of savings already.  Lately, I have been getting a lot of self help books too and I give them out as gifts to aunties and uncles who are celebrating their birthdays.  I have ordered a lot of Dr Seuss books for the little girl too as she loves reading these books.  I hope her love for reading will continue until she grows older unlike me and her dad who just rekindled our love for reading a few years ago.
