With just three months to go before our family’s US vacation, I still haven’t started booking our hotels in LA, Las Vegas and San Francisco. I’ve been pretty busy lately with the holidays coming and all so vacation planning took a back seat. I hope I can accomplish the hotel bookings though right after the holidays so I can still avail of cheaper rates.

I’m getting more and more excited as each day passes. I’m sure we will have a blast just like with every trip our little family took in the past. Now I can’t wait for our next target destination. I’ve heard so much about Belize in Central America and great feedbacks with belize hotels too so we might consider that. Will see …

Last night over dinner, my in laws were talking about orlando vacations. They have been wanting to bring the kids to Disney World Orlando for a long time now but Jon and I passed on it first because we think Orlando is too far for the kids this time. For our coming US trip, we would only be around west coast for convenience. We would love to visit Disney World though of course. I hope by the time the kids can handle the trip, my in laws would still be willing to take us.That would be so much fun I bet. We will explore Disney World all together!

Had been planning on going to Shang Mactan with the kids but it always gets sidetracked. I’m hoping this time we can finally make it. Vacation Mode

Its mid March and here I am still have no definite vacation plans for the family. Well, you see, I am no beach person so I don’t really look forward to summer as much as other people do. To them, summer either means Bora, Palawan or Cebu but these places don’t really appeal to me. If you have been a follower of my blogs and multiply, you’d probably know by now that my family loves trooping to HK all the time so this year or should I say this summer shouldn’t be any different then, right? Unless somebody can sponsor my whole family to US this summer and billet us in those luxurious Outer Banks rentals.Impossible I must say so we’d content ourselves with HK again. After all, I always enjoy this great city. US can wait this December.

I am busy looking at some travel insurance quotes online right now. Any leads? Its going to be my first time to get one in case so I need all the help and information I could get. I am bent on getting one before our next travel as I will be traveling with both my kids this time. My mom and in laws had been long time convincing me and my husband to get one but its only now that we took the time to really think it over and eventually decides to settle for one. We can never be sure and its better to be safe than sorry, right?

I’m hoping I could find a great deal. Will probably spend the whole night searching the net. Wish me luck!

The husband will be off to Bangkok to attend the VIV Asia 2009 this coming March. As early as now, I’m already making a list of the stuff I will have him buy for me. You see, back in 2007, we’ve been to Bangkok too so I know that Lacoste shirts or any Lacoste stuff for that matter, are cheaper there. So I hope he hoards Lacoste shirts for me, Sophia and our little boy Mateo. I would love for him to take home tamarind candies too aside from some discount supplements we’ve seen before at Mustafa Center. As much as I would want to join him for this trip, I just can’t as I won’t be comfortable leaving the little boy behind. Besides I’ve got out of the country plans of my own for the whole family soon. *wink wink*

This early, I have been telling and bugging the husband about having our first out of the country trip with Mateo in tow. Yes, I already have plans. You see, we took Sophia to HK when she was six months old and I’m hoping to do the same with the little boy. After all, Sophia isn’t really of a problem anymore as she’s already turning four this March. I only am considering Asian destinations though so it’ll be easier for me. As much as we would like to attend my sister in law’s graduation this May in Florida, Jon and I don’t think its a good idea. We would love to go though with my in laws and stay at Westgate Vacation Villas Orlando but I think we’ll pass this time first. The long flight of course is the reason why. By the time Mateo is one though which is December this year, we vow to go with them and visit dear sister in law.

He’ll be home tonight!

The husband is arrving this afternoon from Macau and we are picking him up. I can’t wait. I missed him so much! And so does the little girl. I bet he has nice words about Macau specifically the hotel where he stayed at as he kept on texting me how he wants to go back there with us. I have to remind him though that I am due soon! LOL. I hope next year, when the new baby is older, we can also visit The Venetian Hotel. I had a hard tim getting reservations for them in this hotel as they don’t have a specific site to book like laughlin hotels so I had to course their reservation through a travel agency. It was worthit though as the hotel was amgnificent according to the husband. I hope though that he’s bringing something magnificent home for me too! BWAHAHAHAAHAHa. We’ll find out.

I have yet to see the movie “For the First Time” but I have been hearing all sorts of comments, from bad to good, about the film. Well, the only good part I have heard of as of now is how beautiful Greece was where part of the movie was filmed. I have never thought of Greece as one of my ultimate travel destinations but its included in my list now after seeing “For the First Time’s” trailer and photos of Mykonos villa rentals in Greek Islands. I hope to visit it soon. The scenery and view is just breathtaking.

The husband is leaving for Macau two weeks from now. He’ll be staying with his friends at the famous Venetian Hotel and boy am I so jealous!!! I haven’t been to Macau and stayed at Venetian too so I can’t help but wish I can tag along with them. But being oh so pregnant, I can’t. I just wish he takes home a really nice surprise for me though to make up for leaving me. *wink wink* Or better yet, maybe he should treat me big time next year after I give birth. Caribbean cruises, perhaps? How I wish!
